Q: Can you produce blades to my drawing or from a sample?

Yes. Send a dimensioned drawing, a photograph of the used blade with a ruler across it, or simply the machine make and model. We reproduce length, width, thickness, bevel angle and the fixing holes exactly, including slots and counterbores.

Q: What tolerances and hardness can you hold?

Dimensional tolerance is typically plus or minus 0.02 mm on thickness with straightness held to 0.10 mm per 1000 mm or better. Carbide grades reach HRA 87-92.5, and hardened tool steel is delivered at the HRC range agreed for your application, with hardness recorded per batch.

DEKEER manufactures industrial cutting blades in Nanjing, China: doctor blades for printing, guillotine and sheeter knives for paper, slotting knives for corrugated board, circular shear blades, serrated knives, stainless steel blades and tungsten carbide knives.

Forge, heat treatment and CNC grinding all happen in our own plant, so a custom blade can be produced to your drawing, from a used sample, or simply from the machine model.

What does DEKEER manufacture?

We are a manufacturer of industrial cutting blades and custom cutting knives: doctor blades for printing, guillotine and sheeter knives for paper, slotting and cross-cutting knives for corrugated and packaging lines, circular shear and slitting blades, serrated knives, stainless steel blades, woodworking knives and tungsten carbide blades. Blades are forged, heat treated and CNC ground in our own plant rather than sourced and resold.

Can you produce blades to my drawing or from a sample?

Yes — this is most of what we do. Send a dimensioned drawing, a photograph of the used blade with a ruler across it, or simply the machine make and model. We reproduce length, width, thickness, bevel angle and the fixing holes exactly, including slots and counterbores.

Which materials and grades do you work with?

HSS (M2 and M35), tool steel such as D2 and SKD11, stainless steel (420 and 440C), and tungsten carbide. Grade choice is driven by what you cut: a clean shear on film and non-woven, wear resistance on abrasive board, or impact tolerance on heavy material. We will recommend a grade once we know the material and the cutting station.

The cutting face is ground and polished to reduce friction and material build-up. How do I request a quotation, and what should I send?

Send the drawing or a photo of the blade with its dimensions, the material being cut if known, and the quantity you are planning. If you do not have a drawing, the machine model and a photo of the worn blade is usually enough for us to come back with a specification. You can reach us through the form on this page, by email or on WhatsApp.

Do you supply samples before a full order?

Yes. For custom profiles we confirm the drawing first, then produce a sample so it can be trialled on your machine before the production run. Sample availability, quantity and lead time are confirmed together with the quotation.

Do you support OEM and private-label manufacturing?

Yes. We produce under OEM and ODM arrangements, including your own branding on the blade and the packaging, for machine builders and distributors who need a consistent blade supplied under their own part number.

How are blades packed and shipped?

Blades travel in edge-protected, rust-inhibited packs so the cutting edge arrives intact: individual sleeves or wooden cases depending on size and quantity, suitable for both sea and air freight. Export documentation and shipping terms are agreed at order stage, and we ship worldwide.

Can worn blades be reground or repaired?

In many cases yes. Circular and straight blades can be reground several times while enough body width remains, restoring the original edge geometry. This is usually the cheapest way to extend blade life, and we can advise on regrind intervals for your cutting station.
